Harriet Tubman once said:

"Every great dream begins with a dreamer.  Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world."

If you're like most people you have dreams and visions of yourself successful, happy, full of life and love and all that's good.  However, when life gets tough, do you feel that some of those dreams start to falter?  They start to give way to the "other things" in life like school, relationships, children, jobs, etc.  So many things can take you away from your initial dreams.  The dreams that still lie inside of you buried beneath your reality.  

Well, it's time to pick up a shovel and dig your way back out!  If you still have a passion and dream that you have never let go of, you just buried it somewhere along in your journey, I encourage you to revisit it.  Feed it and let it flourish!  You never know where that dream will take you!

I met a young lady the other day and she had a dream at one time.  She shared with me that she had a dream of going to cosmetology school and owning her own salon one day.  She had visions of herself being a part of this industry and found herself always picking up magazines to look at the latest trends wishing she could be the one creating those looks for people.  Unfortunately she let those "other things" in life take precedence and she never fed her dream...that is, until now.  I am thrilled to meet people who finally listen to their passion!  It's understandable that dreams and goals fall to the wayside every once in a while.  It happens to us all, but how beautiful is it when you can go back, pick them up, dust them off, and shed new light on them in order for them to grow?  Incredibly beautiful!
